intacs™ SPICE® for Cybersecurity (ID 820) training now launched

ISO/IEC 15504 and its successor ISO/IEC 330xx (SPICE: Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) constitute a worldwide standard for assessing process capability and process improvement in software engineering and software-based systems. In automotive industry, the derived version "Automotive SPICE®" is applied for assessing and qualifying the control device and software suppliers.


This training is focus on Automotive SPICE® extension model of cybersecurity. Prepare you for the examination "intacs™ SPICE® for cybersecurity". You will learn about Automotive SPICE® for cybersecurity. The contents, discussions and exercises will enable you to accompany assessments regarding cybersecurity as lead assessor and improve processes based on this standard.


Objectives

  • Given an overview of the cybersecurity standards

  • Introduction to the TARA – Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment 
  • Introduction to the Process Assessment Model (PAM) of cybersecurity risk management
  • Introduction to the Acquisition Processes
  • Impacts on the other Automotive SPICE processes
  • Preparation for the ensuing examination


Concept and Methods
Trainers for this training are all accredited as "intacs™ certified Instructor" and also have certification for "intacs™ certified Principal Assessor". The training material language is English, independent of the course language. 
During this training, technical lectures and group exercises alternate in order to support the transfer of the topics into the participants‘ own work environment with a particular focus on exchanging experiences between participants and the trainer.

Target Audience

Lead assessors who need a certification for a model extension of cybersecurity to perform an assessment with this extension.


Prerequisites for Attendance

Participants should possess several years' professional experience the IT sector (e.g., software/system engineering, project management, quality management, or similar). They should be certified as Provisional Assessor or higher and have assessment experience.

Certificate info

At the end of the training, the participants will receive a certificate of attendance (2hrs missed lessons at max.). 


For further Qualification: 

1. The attendance certificate as well as passing the post-training examination are required.

2. Exam result will be sent from Automotive SPICE® office in Germany directly, with a passing score, a reply mail with personal register information is required.

3. Qualification certificate & card will be sent out from Automotive SPICE® office in Germany directly after successful payment according to the mail of instructions from Automotive SPICE® office in Germany.
